Gül ve Bülbül
(The Rose and the Nightingale)
The story of the rose and the nightingale has always
been a unique inspiration for many artists, from minstrels to painters,
from Central Asia to present day Anatolia. They used this theme in great
depth. Barana Trio would like to contribute to this universal quest with
a happy, sad and sometimes humerous musical interpretation. The play
of love between the rose and the nightingale is still taking place all
over the world even though we can't always see or hear them.
